A DIRECTLY APPLICABLE YOUTH PLAN, IN WHICH YOUR YOUTH COACHES WILL BE EDUCATED.

To develop youth players Train To Score makes a youth plan available, and youth coaches are trained.  

In In the youth plan each coach is provided with all kinds of sample exercises that match the age-specific characteristics of children. With this every coach can give full-fledged training and immediately start developing youth players. Its is also possible to tailor our youth plan to your own youth and/or technical plan.

The child is central to development, with the coach coaching in an understandable (children's) language. 

Through a number of workshops youth coaches are trained in the field of age-specific characteristics, the transmission of complex football terms to children and the independent development of appropriate forms of exercise. These education is recognised by the KNVB and provides your (youth) coaches with 4 CPD points towards the UEFA licences.

During the season, coaches can receive direct support in the independent development of exercises.

The youth plan of Train To Score

With the youth plan, every coach can immediately start developing your youth players. Each trainer can immediately receive individual support.

In the youth plan, each age category has its own way of playing. A way of playing is a collection of principles of how to play football (with attacking, switching to defending, defending and switching to attack), in order to win matches. These principles are referred to as intentions within the Train To Score youth academy. 

For all intentions, Train To Score immediately provides sample exercises that match the age-specific characteristics of children (physical, social-emotional, cognitive and motor skills). 

In the sample exercises, all complex coach comments have been translated into an understandable (children's) language. 

Learning goals are geared to the development of children and follow each other in a logical order.

OUR METHODIC PRINCIPLES

Playing method

  • The plan takes into account the number of players and the age-specific differences, each age category has its own way of playing.

    Our offensive intentions are focused on moving forward as quickly as possible. We want to get players in front of the ball to create playing possibilities ahead and to score goals.

    To prevent goals, we make the space around the ball as small as possible. Our defensive intentions aim to capture the ball as quickly as possible and avoid goals against.

  • Some age categories play with fewer than eleven players. Each team organization within a game mode is then derived from a team.

  • Every coach can immediately provide full and appropriate training.

    For all the intentions within the various age specific ways of playing there are example exercises available.

    All sample exercises are tailored to the age-specific characteristics.

    In all sample exercises, coach comments are translated into an understandable (children's) language.
